Norm Gill - Indoor Sports Complex Design Consultant Norm Gill, Managing Partner Norm was the founder of Soccer Blast International (SBI) and has hands on experience in every aspect of an indoor facility's development, construction and operation. He has personally operated two Soccer/Sports Blast indoor sports complexes and has overseen the development, construction and operation of many others. Norm's contracting experience has helped our clients save hundreds of thousands of dollars during the design and construction process of numerous indoor sports complexes. Before founding Soccer Blast and becoming an indoor sports complex design professional, Norm was principal owner of a construction company specializing in design/build industrial construction projects. His expertise includes location selection, construction, financing and business operations. Norm has served as a member of USIndoor Soccer's Advisory Board of Directors.

Sam Migliano, PartnerSam is a partner with Pinnacle and has more than 20 years of expertise in the sports facility industry. He led the firm in the development of market feasibility studies, financial modeling, economic impact analyses and facility operations. Additionally, Sam has been directly involved in the pre-opening, opening, programming, management and/or optimization of sports facilities, startups and existing venues. He is a certified arena operator and earned a B.S. at The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration at Canisius University. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Sam oversaw the financial turnaround of a YMCA.

Lisa Gill, Partner Lisa specializes in the areas of: human resources, employee training programs, special events, youth programming & camps, and development of training programs for sports facility professionals. She has direct experience as Executive Director of a multi-sport indoor facility and has worked in community and economic development for municipalities and in hospitality and tourism management. Lisa earned her Masters of Science in Training & Development from the University of Wisconsin.

Jared Carnes Jared has spent most of his career as a project manager in the youth and amateur sports industry. During his time as a project manager, Jared’s work included the development of market studies, financial forecasts, economic impact analyses, feasibility studies, and existing facility optimization plans for clients considering the development or optimization of recreation, wellness, entertainment, and sports tourism assets. Jared is also a former collegiate athlete at the University of South Florida where he played football.

Gary Lindsey headshot Gary Lindsey Gary is an industry-renowned facility management professional with more than 35 years of hands-on, day-to-day facility management and sports marketing experience. Gary began his career in the sports management business at Soccerama in Tampa, FL, at the age of 17. A collegiate soccer and tennis player for Andrew College in Cuthbert, GA, Gary then went to the University of South Florida where he earned his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing and management. Gary previously served as a team administrator for the United States Soccer Federation working with various youth National Teams. Gary has provided facility management and consulting services for numerous clients with an emphasis in management, operations and marketing. Most currently Gary was the President and COO of LKSoccer in Chicago, IL where he ran the largest Lil’ Kicker franchise in the country serving close to 20,000 children on an annual basis. A Certified Arena Operator, he currently holds a USSF “C” coaching license and has coached professional, ODP, youth, high school, and adult teams. Gary presents annually at the US Indoor Sports Association conference.

Tab Brockman Tab brings 15 years of Parks and Recreation leadership to Pinnacle. He earned the Kentucky Recreation and Parks Society’s Department of the Year Award at three different levels, and KRPS singled out his teams for multiple indoor and outdoor facility and programming awards. He also was named the state’s Professional of the Year. Tab’s vision, creativity and leadership skills have also been recognized by the Kentucky League of Cities, which named him its 2022 City Employee of the Year. Additionally, he has extensive experience developing and implementing youth and adult sports programs, tournaments, special events, festivals and concerts. Tab’s focus on community collaboration, coupled with 40 years of marketing, public relations, advertising and sponsorship development, brings a unique perspective to evaluating assets and maximizing marketplace opportunities.

Don Schumacher, CSEE Don, CSEE, has a lifetime of experience in the field of communications, family entertainment, theme park marketing and operations, area and stadium marketing and operations, event management, sports marketing and facilities consultation. For almost forty years he has focused his activities on sport tourism and has consulted with more then 175 cities on strategies to increase market share.

John Oberhausen John has spent the last 35 years in and around the AECO market.  Primarily providing Owners Representative services for all sorts of projects for a Fortune 5, 20 and 40 Health Services Companies. From building Corporate Headquarters, Healthcare Clinics, Pharmacy Distribution Centers to a plethora of Tenant Finish projects all around the US, John implements his vast knowledge in construction, project delivery and process to provide customers with the project oversight they deserve while obtaining the utmost value to their project. John likes to keep things simple and have fun all while delivering the best, most efficient, and cost-effective project to projects.

Michael Popke, Associate Mike is a professional editor and writer with almost 30 years of experience working with print and digital platforms. As managing editor of Athletic Business magazine for 14 years, he covered the business of designing, building, maintaining and managing sports facilities, and he has won multiple awards for his work. Additionally, Michael is a former youth baseball and basketball coach who also volunteered as a USA Swimming stroke-and-turn official.
